U.S. Exchange Programs

The U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina supports and facilitates a variety of exchange programs to the United States at the high school, undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, and professional levels.

Participants develop:

• Valuable academic and professional skills
• A new academic and professional network
• Leadership skills
• Personal enrichment
• A greater understanding of the complexities of the world around them
• New knowledge of foreign cultures while helping increase mutual understanding between countries.

Since 2000, over 1,500 students, scholars, and professionals from Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in U.S. Embassy-supported exchange programs to the United States.
